Join Amy DeLucia-Ferri for a Yoga & Mindfulness class geared towards children in grades 1-5. Caregivers are welcome to join in the fun.
This class uses yoga and mindfulness exercises (including yoga poses, relaxation techniques and breathing exercises) to reinforce healthy mind-states, and to build confidence and compassion in our children. Children will be engaged through the use of props, games, music, and partner poses. With children we can reinforce healthy mind states right from the get go and introduce tools to access them before too many destructive patterns develop.
All children under the age of 12 must have a responsible adult remain on the library premises (indoors, garden, parking lot, etc.) during all programs.
Individual event registration required.
