Event Details

Can travel improve our quality of life? Where—near or far—have you visited that left an impression on you, and what made those experiences special? If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? What makes a good travel experience, and how can we become better global tourists?

In April, gear up for Earth Day by going global and exploring what "Traveling the World" means, what it looks like, and how we can be better travelers and tourists. Join us to view a selection of curated talks on this topic and discuss as a group.

This month we'll also be joined by Stephanie Bolduc, Manager of AAA Old Saybrook, who will share expert insights and feedback relating to this topic.

More about this month's Local Expert:

Stephanie's AAA office in Old Saybrook offers travel services ranging from organizing domestic auto travel all the way to international tours, cruises, and custom trips. Their work with vendors helps meet any needs and can assist with pre-planned tours, completely custom itineraries, road trip planning, and creating custom maps that take into account the safest, fastest, and wisest routes. Personally, Stephanie has participated in international travel to Canada, Iceland, Scotland, England, France, Mexico, Ireland, and the Dominican Republic. During these trips, she enjoyed a wide range of experiences including all-inclusive options, campervan travel, hostels, train travel, hotel stays, and excursions. Domestically, she has explored over a dozen National Parks and regularly enjoys road trips through the North East.
