Be a "Garden Hero" with the Arbor Garden Club of Clinton! Members of the public are invited to increase our education on environmental issues with a series of engaging programs featuring local experts.

  • Thurs. 3/9 @ 6:30 PM: "The Healing Garden Farm" - Farm owner Trish Cretella will present the benefits of growing your own food, flowers, and healing herbs. Join us to learn about the natural healing powers of the earth.
  • Thurs. 4/13 @ 6:30 PM: "Wild Birds Unlimited" - Jessica Penfield, owner of the Old Saybrook specialty store, will present how birds benefit our gardens, how to attract birds to your garden, and their nesting habits.
  • Thurs. 5/11 @ 6:30 PM: "ROOTS" - Organic gardening educator Joey Listro will present a discussion on healthy soil, companion plantings, composting, fertilizer, and weed control.
