Yarn Friends for Teens

Make some new friends--literally! We'll be making amigurumi (Ah-mi-goo-roo-mi) critters from yarn! This Japanese craft dates as far back as at least the late 1100s, but you can use some more modern techniques.

Knowledge of crochet stitches (single crochet, increase stitch and decrease stitch) is helpful, but not necessary. Materials will be supplied, but feel free to bring your own as well.
