Henry on Main, Cafe Nola, and the Clinton Arts Council present the Jason Winikoff Trio.
Dr. Jason Winikoff is a drummer, percussionist, singer, bandleader, ethnomusicologist, and music educator. He cut his teeth playing and studying Black American Music in New Orleans. Though originally from the US, he has been an active member of various Vancouver music scenes since 2018. He was especially involved in the Canadian city’s traditional jazz and swing dance community where he gained notoriety for his bouncy grooves, high energy drumming, and raspy vocals. In 2025 he relocated to New Haven where he is an enthusiastic member of the local scene.
