The Get Real Non-Fiction Book Group will meet on Tuesday, March 14th @ 1:00 in the HCH Community Room to discuss The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor--the Truth and the Turmoil by Vanity Fair Editor Tina Brown. New Readers are always welcome.

Since The Palace Papers was published,  96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II died, marking the first time since 1952 that Britain has transitioned to a new monarch. The ascendancy of King Charles III, who had served as the heir-apparent for 70 years; the revealing memoir by Prince Harry, and the continued push by Commonwealth countries to have true independence from the U.K, have all become major news stories in the continuing saga of British royal history. Brown's book covers the past 25 years of scandals, affairs, power plays, and the monarch who held "The Firm" together. Perfect for fans of the Netflix series The Crown.
