Program Description

Event Details

Join Physical Therapist Aaron Morales, Rehab Director at the Visiting Nurses of the
Lower Valley, for an informative and hands-on presentation on one of the most pressing
concerns for older adults: falls.

In this interactive, one-hour session, Aaron will explore the common causes of falls in
the elderly, the impact of the aging process on balance and mobility, and practical
strategies seniors can use to reduce their risk. He will also guide attendees on how to
access appropriate services if a higher level of care is needed.

Aaron is a Connecticut-licensed physical therapist with over 12 years of experience,
specializing in geriatrics. For the past 8 years, he has worked in homecare and now
oversees rehabilitation services for more than 100 individuals across the CT Shoreline
and Route 9 corridor. His philosophy is simple but powerful: knowledge is power.
Through education and awareness, Aaron believes seniors can take control of their
health, prevent falls, and continue to age with grace, independence, and dignity.
