“I know the sea, and marine life. Much of my artwork incorporates that knowledge.”—Capt Michael J Corcoran
During the pandemic Mike became fascinated with birds that came to feed in his backyard. That interest eventually led to using them as subjects for paintings. “Each species has its own personality and beauty. I enjoy trying to capture that with paint.” Mike is a lifelong resident of Connecticut, growing up in Windsor. He has resided in the shoreline town of Clinton for over 40 years. His artwork can be found in numerous private collections from the United States to Bali Indonesia.
