Event Details
To educate and bring awareness regarding the transgender/gender expansive population, licensed psychotherapist, social worker, author, and transgender woman Jillian Celentano will explore topics and issues of developmental stages across the lifespan of the trans population based on education, experience in the field and her lived personal experience. The audience will become familiar with both the truths and misconceptions regarding the transgender and gender expansive population. This program is presented in collaboration with the Clinton Human Rights Committee.

About the Speaker:
Jillian is a transgender woman who began her transition in 2016 at the age of 55. She is a licensed psychotherapist, social worker, advocate, and has organized support groups for transgender/gender diverse children and young adults. Jillian co-authored two published transgender studies at Yale University and is a published author of her book, Transitioning Later in Life: A Personal Guide. She is now working at a private practice as a licensed therapist and educator for the transgender/gender diverse community.
