Residential Building Code 101: A Crash Course is for homeowners, contractors and those that are curious about the building code and how it applies to them.  We will cover the code to reference, how to use it, the importance of permits and discussing misunderstood areas and sections of residential building code for Connecticut.    

90 minutes long.

Dick McManus is a Clinton resident and is a licensed building official for the State of Connecticut.  He has worked for The State Building Inspectors Office, The Town of Old Saybrook, and most recently The Town of Durham.  He also worked in the field as a contractor and a facilities engineer.
