Opening Day: "Quiet Wonderment"

This July, we are pleased to host, Quiet Wonderment an exhibit of photography by Christina Gajda. View the exhibit on display on the 1st & 2nd Floors from Mon. 7/3 through Sat. 7/29.

About the artists:

Christina Gajda: Christina Gajda has been taking photographs since she first learned how to build her own camera in a Black and White Photography class in high school. Since then, she has captured many images that demonstrate the emotion and feeling of the moment.

Christina’s photographs have a sense of secrecy, as if she just caught the moment by surprise. She looks for images that bring out a sense of longing, slightly nostalgic, mixed with the joy and beauty of nature and humankind. Her photographs savor moments that we all want to hold onto.

Christina’s images have been featured in the IMAGES 2022 exhibit, the 2022 Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts+ Photo Exhibition virtual show, and the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts 112th Annual Exhibition at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, CT.
