Take a hike with Clinton Land Conservation Trust and local author/illustrator John Himmelman!

We will meet in the parking lot at Peters Memorial Woods in Clinton, 35 Valley Road, at 10:00am and hike the Bougie Trail. John Himmelman will read his children's picture book Noisy Bug Sing-Along as we hike the trail. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring your own water and bug/tick repellent.

About the Bougie trail: This is the main trail at Peters Woods. It is .4 miles to a clearing at the highest point of elevation. Considered an easy walk for seniors and young children. This trail was once a former logging road. It is wide and lined with stone walls. The terrain becomes hilly. Marked in red.

This event will be cancelled in inclement weather and will not have a rain date. The Story Hike will remain on the trail for one year. This program is sponsored by Clinton Land Conservation Trust. We hope to see you out and about on one of our many trails.
