Program Description
Event Details
From ancient Greek and Roman sporting events to ancient Chinese weddings to Victorian fashion, flower crowns have been popular symbols of status or symbols of events. Though we mainly use them as statement pieces in fashion nowadays, flower crowns are a wonderful symbol of sunnier, brighter, and longer days.
What better way to celebrate the longest day of the year than by making some!
We'll be making flower crowns and discussing the meanings behind different flowers- maybe you can even learn how to insult someone with a bouquet.
This program is for rising 9th-12th graders.
