Join the Valley Shore Literacy Volunteers at Henry Carter Hull Library in Clinton for a Literacy Resources Open House

Stop by to find out how to sign up for free individual English language lessons or become an LVVS volunteer tutor. Meet representatives from Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore and enjoy complimentary coffee and refreshments.

Residents of Clinton will also have the opportunity to sign up for a library card and learn about the valuable online resources that they can access for free with their card, like Mango Languages, Kanopy, Hoopla, and The Palace Project.

LVVS serves the towns of Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook. The organization supports individuals in these communities to improve their English Language skills through one-on-one free tutoring services, including more than 220 community residents from more than 65 different countries.
