Event Details

Please join our dynamic Non-Fiction Books Club on Tuesday, January 10th at 1:00 in the HCH Community Room for a discussion of Freezing Order:A True Story of Money Laundering, Murder, and Surviving Vladimir Putin's Wrath by Bill Browder.

Following his explosive New York Times bestseller Red Notice (2015), Bill Browder returns with another gripping thriller chronicling how he became Vladimir Putin’s number one enemy by exposing Putin’s campaign to steal and launder hundreds of billions of dollars and kill anyone who stands in his way.  Both a financial caper and an international adventure, Freezing Order reveals Putin will stop at nothing to protect his money as we learn it was Browder’s campaign to expose Putin’s corruption that prompted Russia’s intervention in the US presidential election.

Red Notice (2015) by Bill Browder is also available for checkout if you would like to read both Red Notice and Freezing Order together.   However, it is not necessary to read Red Notice first to comprehend the events in Freezing Order ( 2022).  The author recaps and expands on the events in the first book Red Notice in this latest book.

Books are available at HCH Library or by contacting cathleen@hchlibrary.org. Registration is not required for this event and we always welcome new readers.
