Backyard Wildlife – All About Opossums!

Join us for an educational program with Pam and Bill Lefferts of Ferncroft Wildlife Rescue in Woodstock, CT. We will learn about wildlife rehabilitation, the role of rehabbers, and discuss various topics such as supporting wildlife during winter, preparing emergency roadside kits, learning more about becoming a rehabber or wildlife volunteer, etc. We will meet their opossum ambassadors Sherman and Mango. Children will be allowed to pet the animals and have their photo taken with the animals.
